Like everything else, your first impression will largely define your success, and I believe that you should treat your mornings the same way. If you believe that will power is finite, then I would recommend expending all your will power here. There are two important reasons for doing this.
- You have the most brain power within the first 3 hours of waking up. Meaning, if you try to get everything you need to get done within these first 3 hours, you would be doing so with your brain at its highest level. Better brain, better work.
- If you start the day disciplined and passionate, you will end the day as such.
I believe that will power is not something that everyone has a limited amount of everyday. I believe that will power is a muscle. It is something that you have to build up. And the more you work it out, the stronger it will become, and the more you will have.
Now, as a challenge, just try to expend all your will power in the morning. Be as disciplined as possible, and just see how your day goes. I will bet that the immense amount of focus, discipline, and dedication you put in the morning will act as momentum throughout the day to continue doing so.
This weeks simple challenge: Try to burn out all your will power in the morning, as soon as you wake up. Then, see what happens throughout the day.
