3 Morning Routines that I use(d) Personally

I have been experimenting with a couple different morning routines, and they all have their pros and cons. I decided to share some or all of the ones that I can remember. If you guys have been looking to try something new to be more productive, I would suggest you start with your morning. The first 60 minutes of your day almost always dictate how productive you will be that day.

Currently

I usually start with making a green smoothie. I put kale, spinach, a banana, blueberries, and milk in the blender. Then I write in my morning journal, and then I write a blog post. After I have done this, I then proceed to work on my school stuff, and plan out the rest of my day.

Since my breakfast is not heavy, I do not get the breakfast lull or food coma, and I feel relatively clear throughout the day.

Ketogenic Tea/intermittent fasting diet

There was a time when I would not consume breakfast, and I would fast 12/14 hours a day. During breakfast time, I would make myself a green tea, or whatever tea I had( I had a lot of different teas), and put in a small scoop of coconut oil. While drinking the tea, I would usually be working on school or reading a book.

This breakfast is obviously super fast to make and clean. I feel super clear headed throughout the day. I did the intermittent fasting diet for almost a year, and it was great.

Chef Days

This applies to people that do not have access to gyms as well.

Since I did not have the time to go lift weights at a gym, I had to make due with what I had. . . the floor. I also was very limited in the time that I had to workout, because I was working like 12-16 hours a day in the fine dining restaurant. And so, my morning looked a little something like this.

As soon as I woke up, I did 50 push ups, 1 minute plank, 50 push ups, and another 1 minute plank. I would sometimes alternate with crunches.  It was a short and simple workout, but luckily I had a good body to start with, and so this workout was more of just simple maintenance. Right after the workout, I would make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich(delicious), and I would drink tea along with it.

If you are taxed for time, and so you can not go to a gym, then do my workout. It should take less than 5 minutes. After about 6 months, people told me that my body actually looked better, so I guess the small workout can also produce great affects.

How did you guys like this post? Do you guys want more post like these? If so, please tell me so down below. And if you have suggestions, please feel free.

It’s that simple,

-Sam
