“I don’t have enough time.”
“I want to workout, but with all the other stuff that I am juggling, I just don’t have the time.”
“I wish I could, but too busy~”
I recently had a conversation with a coworker, and he was talking about how he did not have enough time to workout. He was working full time and going to school, and he said he was not getting enough sleep if he worked out on top of that.
I can’t tell you the amount of times I have heard people the same exact thing, and then find people in the same exact situation who miraculously find an hour or 2 everyday to go workout. People in the same exact situation who have the same load, but still find time to workout, and have great bodies/confidence because of it. So, whenever you tell yourself that you are too busy or don’t have enough time, ask yourself, “Has someone more busy than you done it before?”. Most of the time, the answer will be yes.
Cutting sleep doesn’t even have to be the answer either.
You just have to be more effective with your time and your priorities. Everyday write down what you need to do and want to do, and then divvy up your time to get the things you need to get done first, and then the things you want to get done. Having a complete list will help you not waste time, because when you find yourself about to waste 5 minutes on your phone, or watch an episode on netflix, the list will be a reminder of how much you want to get done in your day. Simple, but effective.
I wanted to work on music for an hour everyday, and usually, due to school, I am capped with work. But I know, that if I put on the pressure, I rise to the occasion, and become more effective to make time. I suggest for you to do the same.
