Play Time

A strange thing happens during the transition from childhood to adulthood. Of course a lot of things happen, but there is one thing in particular that is overlooked. And if you have read the title, then you probably know what I am talking about.

Play Time

I remember as a kid when I would specifically set aside time to play(which was just most of the day). I would use my imagination, play games, and go outside to play with my friends. Nowadays, I feel as though I have lost the sense of play that I had when I was a child. I do not know if you guys relate, but there came a time when playing imaginary games was not cool, and playing sports became the cool thing to do. Now I am defintely for sports, I think the world can use more competition, but I wish it did not come at the cost of our imaginations.

We should strive to reactivate our imagination muscles, and try to remember what it was like to be a child.

Although whenever I sleep, the only way I can is if I imagine a story to get lost in, I do not think that my imagination should be limited to my slumber. Stay creative, it is what has advanced society thus far.

It’s that simple,
