The Simple Truth
Ask for it. That’s it. It really is that simple. Ask and you shall receive.
Okay, maybe there is little more to it than that. You have to have the courage to ask. On top of that, you also have to be able to ask the right questions. And both are huge obstacles for most people. Let’s attach each separately.
Having the balls to ask for what you want.
I really can’t say much more than just ask, but of course it is much harder than that, and there is no insight at all. Most people do not ask for what they want because of one thing-fear. Fear of being seen as indecent or mean, fear of rejection, the one thing that is holding them back s the fear that things will not turn out as they want them. So if you want to get the things you can, you have to step out of your comfort-zone, and ask for them.
Asking the right questions.
Why am I so fat? Why am I so lazy? Why am I so (insert any other negative attribute)? These are examples of some bad questions. They do not lead you to any answers. You have to ask questions that will make you focused, and that are generally, answerable. Instead of asking “Why am I so fat?”, ask yourself, “What are my eating routines and physical routines that have allowed me to be this weight?”.
If you change the question, you get a different quality of answer. Ask a better question, and you get a better life.
