I have 10 minutes to write. I am sitting in a library within my university, and I just finished a workout, and I had a couple of minutes to play with before a lecture. And so, I decided that I would use that time to write something for this blog.
I have 10 minutes to play with, so there are few things that the 10 minutes entail.
- I can only do 10 minutes of work. So I should not expect a masterpiece of myself.
“People overestimate what they can accomplish in a week, and underestimate what they can accomplish in a year.” -Tim Ferriss (author of the 4 hour series)
- I can only really focus on one thing. This is a continuation of what I was talking in my first point, but I should only try to do one thing within those 10 minutes. If I were to try to accomplish 2 or 3 things at once, then all that would accomplish is trying to get ready to do one task, and then switching to get ready for the next task before I got anything done with the original task. Do not multitask, it just does not work, and whatever you create will be shit.
So, I am not going to edit this post right now, I am just writing. I am writing whatever thought that comes to mind, in confidence that I will look back, and fix what needs to be fixed.
- Delegate!!!This is the culmination of everything within this post. Delegate what you know you can do in 10 minutes, and then sit down, and get the work done. Do not distract yourself. Get in the zone, and fire away.
I hope you found this helpful. If you did, please like, share, and follow.
